Y Series: Dual-Position High-Pressure Oil Filter

This model is designed to remove mechanical impurities and contaminants produced by the chemical changes in the hydraulic oil from hydraulic systems' high-pressure pipelines. The machine can clean gelatinous, asphaltenes, carbon residues and other contaminants. It prevents filter element sticking, throttle valve and orifice clogging, premature wear of hydraulic components, thus extending the lifespan of hydraulic components.

Dual-Position Installation: This model series can be installed upright or inverted, thus making convenience to the selected orientation and position for particular factorial needs.

Dual-Orientation features a removable cover cap, which allows maintenance without disassembling the filter housing. The design improves the convenience of installing filter elements, reduces the labor force, and increases the working efficiency.

Built-in Clogging Indicator and Bypass Valve: When the filter is clogged with contamination and the differential pressure reaches 52.5 psi (3.5bar), the indicator emits a switch signal to alert the situation. If immediate shutdown for replacement or cleaning is not possible, the built-in bypass valve will automatically open when the pressure difference reaches 75 psi (5 bar), preventing further increase in pressure difference, protecting the filter element from damage, and avoiding secondary contamination.”

The bypass valve is installed inside the filter element to effectively avoid the risk of contamination particles jamming the valve seat when the bypass valve is placed at the inlet or outlet. This internal placement prevents unrepairable gaps and ensures the filter maintains its effectiveness.

Standard Configuration

Carbon steel filter head and housing, 304 stainless steel filter element framework, ABS filter element cap, Nitrile rubber filter seals, and comes with CS-V clogging indicator.

The filter element consists of composite glass fiber filaments material, featuring high filtration accuracy, high impact resistance, large oil flow capacity, minimal initial pressure loss, and large dirt holding capacity. Its filtration accuracy is calibrated in absolute filtration accuracy, with a filtration ratio β3, 5, 10, 20 ≥ 200, and filtration efficiency ƞ ≥ 99.5%, meeting ISO standards.
