SH Series: Top-Mounted Return Oil Filter
The product is used for fine filtration of return oil in hydraulic systems, filtering out metallic particles generated by component wear and rubber impurities from seals, among other contaminants, to keep the oil in return tank clean.
The filter is installed on top of the oil tank, with the cylinder part immersed inside the tank. It is equipped with a bypass valve, diffuser, and clogging indicator of filter element, featuring a compact structure, convenient installation, large oil flow capacity, low pressure loss, and convenient filter element replacement.
Built-in Clogging Indicator and Bypass Valve
When the clogging indicator is in the green range, it indicates the filter is operating normally; when the clogging indicator is in the red range, it indicates the filter is contaminated and blocked. When the pressure difference reaches 52.5 psi (3.5 bar), the indicator sends a switch signal (changes from normally open to normally closed), indicating that the filter element should be replaced or cleaned. If immediate shutdown for replacement or cleaning is not possible, the built-in bypass valve will automatically open when the pressure difference reaches 60 psi (4 bar), preventing further increase in pressure difference, protecting the filter element from damage, and avoiding secondary contamination.
The design adopts a direct return filtration structure, allowing for easy and quick filter element replacement by unscrewing the removable cover. The filter head is equipped with 2 functional ports, enabling the installation of indicator in either port. The other port can be used to filter a small amount of oil returning to the tank.
The diffuser is located at the bottom of the housing, allowing the return oil to flow smoothly into the tank, reducing the likelihood of air bubbles and effectively minimizing the disturbance of settled contaminants at the bottom of the tank.
Filter Structure and Installation Diagram
The filter element uses long-fiber chemical fiber filtering material, characterized by high filtration accuracy, good impact resistance, large oil flow capacity, low initial pressure loss, and large dirt holding capacity. The filtration precision is calibrated as absolute filtration precision, with filtration ratios β3, 5, 10, 20 ≥ 200, and filtration efficiency η ≥ 99.5%, complying with ISO standards.

2. Product Standard Configurations: Housing and filter head material is aluminum alloy, matching flanges (provided free of charge) are made of carbon steel. The filter element framework and end cap material is carbon steel, seals material is nitrile rubber, and the clogging indicator model is CYB-I.
3. Two types of clogging indicators are available for selection. Model CYB-I features a visual inspection function, normally open contact, voltage 0~36V, power 20W, not compatible with computers. Model CY-II does not have a visual inspection capability, normally open contact, voltage 0~240V, power 50W, compatible with computers.
